Dental health for Breast Cancer patients

I am sorry to hear that one of my patients is fighting with late stage of breast caner last week.
I summerized the dental health precautions for breast cancer patients while I wish her the best.
1.Breast cancer patients should maintain good hygiene by brushing, rinsing and flossing throughout their treatment;
2. schedule a regular cleaning and finish outstanding treatments before their treatement;
3. Ready to fight the oral complications: Mucositis, Xerostomia, Fungal Infection (Candida), Viral infection (HSV), Gingival Bleeding, Periodontal Infection caused by chemotherapy;Transient xerostomia by radiotherapy; Osteonecrosis by Intravenous Bisphosphonates
4.Expecting: increased gingival inflammation, gingival bleeding, periodontal pocketing, xerostomia and burning tissues in patients receiving anti-estrogen therapies;
